Barberry (Berberis vulgaris) is a shrub whose bark, roots, and berries have been traditionally used in herbal medicine. It contains berberine, an alkaloid known for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and metabolic-regulating properties. It is often used to support liver function and digestion.
So the mix of herbs that I gave her had nothing for the anxiety at all. It was all to do uh with metabolism.
