Jenga is a popular block-stacking game where players take turns removing one block at a time from a tower constructed of 54 wooden blocks. Each removed block is then placed on top of the tower, creating a progressively taller and more unstable structure. The game ends when the tower falls, or when any block falls from the tower, other than the block being intentionally removed by the player.
I like to think about like, uh, playing the game of Jenga. Have you ever played Jenga?
""The speaker uses Jenga as an analogy to explain how foundational knowledge in education is crucial, and how missing concepts (like removing blocks) can destabilize future learning. The host confirms familiarity with the game."
