Arabinoxylan is a type of dietary fiber, specifically a hemicellulose, found abundantly in cereal grains like wheat, rye, and barley. It is a complex carbohydrate composed of arabinose and xylose sugars. Arabinoxylan is known for its prebiotic properties, supporting gut health, and has been studied for its potential to lower cholesterol and provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects due to associated polyphenols.
We started putting people on we took two common fibers arabinosylan and inulin which are these two uh just commonly used razylans and physium hus and it's associated with mezamucil and inulins and these chory pea fiber things.
""Dr. Michael Snyder introduced arabinoxylan as one of two common fibers (alongside inulin) that his lab studied as supplements. He noted its presence in Metamucil and its interesting chemical composition, including polyphenols, and mentioned that it generally reduced cholesterol in most study participants."
